Football Player in a Skirt

John started football now, (can you believe it?). He's number 40 and and is also one of the fastest players there. Before his pictures I snuck in the bathroom and put his shoulder pads and jersey on. How do I look? Do I look scary in my frilly white skirt? Well at least I match. LOL I should play for the High School, with Micheal lol. GO OWLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Look I'm a Fruit Fly

This morning at breakfast I held my apple up to my eye for no real reason and John grabbed two, put them up to his eyes and said "Look I'm a Fruit Fly!" I remembered he stole that from a Hannah Montana episode and I grabbed two cups and said "I'm a cup fly" It was hilarious!!

More Good and Bad News

The bad news is that even though I made callbacks for the school musical I did not make the cast. At first I was really upset, I wanted to be in it so bad but then I remembered a conversation I had with a girl who is going to be a senior. She was telling me that she had tried out for the musical every year and made it once. She wasn't bad either there are just so many kids who go out for it that there are almost 20 people who get cut. It doesn't always mean that they're bad it's just that some people are better than others and there will almost always be cuts. I will try out again next year and maybe go out for the spring play. I don't know yet. The good news is that my friend Macahla had two extra tickets for the Brewer's game Sun. she took me and my other friend Robyn. Even though they lost I had a great time with them and it helped me get over the musical. It was a perfect way to end this week full of rejection. Thanks Machala and Robyn.

News is always GOOD AND BAD

The bad news is that all summer I went to a volleyball camp so I would be ready for try outs. Try outs were this past Mon.-Wed. There were 23 girls that showed up and only 15 could stay and be on the team. I did my best, but it wasn't good enough and I didn't make it. However, I wasn't as upset as I thought I would be, probably because I was excited about the High School Musical (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) tryouts that same Wed. and Thurs. There were a whole choir room full of High Schoolers. I had to sing a song from the musical in front everyone, by myself and then we did a bunch of dancing and the next day was all of the acting. Later tonight the call backs were posted and I MADE IT!!!!!!!! The call backs are Sat. afternoon, I can't wait. It made be get over the volleyball. I guess when something bad happens it isn't long before something else really good happens to cheer you up.

I touched a TIGER!!!

This year at the county fair my cousin Daniel and I went to a tent with black and orange stripes to pet a tiger. It was only 4 months old, can you say "awwwwwwwwww". Its paws were bigger than hand. We got our picture taken with it too. We went on our search for the tiger tent just when a storm was coming so when we got back to the Ferris wheel (where everyone was suppose to meet us) no one was to be found, they went looking for us. So we walked endlessly around in the pouring rain trying to find them in the ride area. Finally we found my mom under a food stand waving at us. The only way to help us through the cold rain was a warm funnel cake drizzled with chocolate fudge.

Check it out!!!

Last summer my cousin Abbey and her family moved to Georgia. They created their own blog to update on how everything is going down there. The more I visited theirs the more interested I got into it, so I decided to create my own. That way they (and everyone else) can see mine too. Hope you like it.
